Alphonse Franklin
Former Lead Singer · The Miracles · “The Lost Miracle”
A Chicago voice raised on the Motown sound, Alphonse started young — forming his first Miracles tribute group, Four Stories High, at just 14, where fans noted his uncanny resemblance to a young Smokey Robinson.
Decades later that devotion became his miracle: in 2008 he was invited to sing lead for The Miracles, sharing the stage with original members Bobby Rogers, Dave Finley and Tee Turner.
Now performing as “Alphonse Sings Smokey”, he brings that timeless soul — “Ooh Baby Baby,” “Baby Come Close,” “If You Can Want” — live to the stage in Temecula, CA. One night. One legendary sound.
